Im Normalfall sind beide Sicherheitsmaßnahmen parallel im Einsatz – es sei denn sie werden explizit abgeschaltet.

In der Account-Verwaltung selbst steht aber was anderes:

When you set up the mobile authenticator, e-mail authentication will be removed from your account. Mobile authentication is much more secure and supersedes the need for e-mail authentication.
